It's July....fireworks, cookouts, beach days, and patriotism!

Memories of July...barbecues, watching the 4th of July fireworks, going to the beach, and just relaxing. We have made it beyond the halfway point of the year..and we still have several months of summer weather to go.

July is also a great time to pick up those great summer reads. I can't think of anything more relaxing than sitting out in your chaise lounge with a big ole glass of ice tea or maybe wine and reading a really good book!

July is also the birth month of many authors and poets: Nathaniel Hawthorne, Emily Bronte, Emma Lazarus, Ernest Hemingway, George Bernard Shaw, and J.K. Rowling to name a few.

So sit back read a book and feel patriotic....:)

"God bless America, land that I love,
Stand beside her, and guide her,
Through the night, with the light from above,
From the mountains, to the prairies
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home,
God bless America! My Home Sweet Home!"
Irving Berlin
